A Guide For Choosing Mother Of The Bride Dresses Atlanta

By Susan Campbell

Weddings are meaningful to more people than the bride and groom. It is an opportunity for the father and mother to take pride in the achievements of their children. As much as the couple must look glamorous, the parents must also be so. Choosing mother of the bride dresses Atlanta should therefore bear in mind certain crucial factors.

Mothers have a personal taste. They should therefore be allowed to make own choices. Though weddings have themes to guide all guests, mothers must stand out. After all, you do not want to be walked down the aisle by an ordinary looking woman. The only consideration is a color and design that complements your chosen theme.

It is a rule not to outshine the bride in a wedding. However, mothers are at liberty because the day is theirs as well. Previously, they allowed the couple to dominate but as mothers get younger and have a wide range of style choices at their disposal, they too should be and feel glamorous. When reviewing your photos and videos, you do not want to encounter a faded image for a mom.

The wedding couple remains as the people to set the level of casualty or formality in their wedding. It is their responsibility to cue everyone coming to the wedding on dressing. If their choice is casual, everyone else should follow suit. Mothers are spoilt of choices to match their desired ages and sizes. They should be allowed to enjoy the party instead of being made to feel like strangers.

Do mothers have any restrictions regarding design? No straight answer can complete that question. Every guest has a duty to turn up for the occasion looking as beautiful as possible. Mothers too have a responsibility to be stylish by choosing the right length. Three-quarter, short dresses, knee length, tea length or floor length will fit different occasions. The choice of sleeveless or coat/jacket should be personal and reflective of comfort.

When dressing your mom, consider the prevailing weather condition and the venue. An outdoor venue demands a different mode of dressing compared to indoor. Evening parties also demand a different style with a variety of options for mothers. A freezing or windy atmosphere should present different fashion options for mothers.

What about both mothers dressing in identical manner. There is no rule that makes this mandatory. As much as it gives an impression of unity and organization, no mother should be forced. Their ideas of style should be respected. It will be uncomfortable for them and will not fit within the celebratory mood expected of the big day.

Beyond the dress, consider other accessories that complete the glamorous motherly look. There is jewelry and makeup to think about. Consider hair styling, nails and facial. Find a balance between her style and the expected feel of the wedding. Do not allow your mom to overlook herself at your expense. She takes a lot of pride in your milestone and will appreciate being part of the glam.
