Theatre actors should be convincing in their acting for them to get a standing ovation. The stage must also be decorated according to the place time of the play to it to be convincing, as well. However, those two are not the only factors to consider for the theatre company to get a standing ovation. Theater Makeup plays a role to in the acquisition of standing ovations. For the impact from powerful acting may not be convincing if the actor does not look the part or have the facial features of the fictional or maybe real character that the actor is portraying.

Actors transform themselves, with the help of makeup, into a younger version of themselves or into an older version. They can become the different gender or even become a different specie. This does not only convince the audience, but also helps the actor in convincing oneself that the actor is not the person who he or she originally is.

Stage makeup is important because of a myriad of reasons. To get rid of flaws that spoils the appearance of actors, makeup is, therefore applied. Dramatic effect can be enhanced with its help, as well, which can convince the attendees that the actor is a different person all together.

However, before even starting the production, the story to be told must be the one the director is interested in. Writers and directors burn the midnight oil just to have success in the play. Thus, the story of which their passion is burning on should be the chosen.

Those are assigned on the designs must painstakingly choose the right theming. The sounds, pros, lights and the outfits of the actors should be successfully planned out. A collaborative effort should be done between those assigned on the designs and the director, for the production to accomplish in making their audience feel like they are being teleported to time in the past or future.

The director should also keep a schedule in the making of the production. Anything can happen during the preparation that might cause delay and may result in unsatisfied customers who have already bought the tickets. One should establish a calendar that should be distributed to everyone that is involved.

The director must also stick to the schedule and must emphasize on the staff punctuality. Rehearsals should start on the scheduled time and end at the schedule time. One must make sure that every actor is focused and fully participating on the play even when they are not part of the scene.

The directors should also choose the right actor for the part. Set up as many auditions as you can just so you can find the perfect person to portray the part. It is important as well to get individuals behind the stage that are trustworthy and diligent in their work.

Theatre companies provide art to everyone that impacts the soul. Television and movies are forms of entertainment. However, theatre is a form of art. That is the reason why the theatre will continue to thrive even with the passage of time.
