By Ann Hayes

Men and women wore jewelries each day and most especially for special occasions. When worn, it adds value to the looks and appearance of a person. Ever since the Middle Ages, these items have become the symbol of prestige and of wealth. No matter, jewelry display inside the stores can be done through the use various equipment.

The most common method is through display glass. If the entirety is made of glass, they will place the jewelries in its cases or place soft cloths on top of the glass surface. They may choose to have shelves with wood surfaces or other materials. The wood are properly sanded and finished to create a smooth and lacquer surface.

Ring holders are useful to hold necklaces as well as bracelets. Its shapes imitate the structure of a tree or cactus. It will display the full length of those two so customers can see and feel the changes properly. Rings however are not to be placed inside one. Rings however are not included here because of its size.

There is a display that is rare in high end stores. Curb chains will display the long items hanging over the floor. Wood or metal rods are the one thing responsible for the chains to be kept in place. The good thing about this is that it adds to the design of the interior. That is the byproduct of this display.

Ring boxes are used as well. The boxes differ in sizes and the number of rings allowable for display. Customers have to lean forward to see clearly and choose the ring on display. Sales representatives will assist them if they have questions and clarifications. They will class these into genders and sizes.

Jewelry blocks may also be used. These are usually made of wood shaped into a small box with a thin steel rod horizontally placed at the center. Not only do these make the placement easier, these also let the jewelries shine on their own. The reason for this is because some displays are so elaborate that they steal the spotlight from the main product.

Sometimes, display boards are used. It is cabinet styled without doors for lock up. Through this, they are able to display the items in one setting. Its shelves will be the border of each jewelry type in one shelf to the next. Neater and diverse displays will result from this.

Showcase vials are usually found in antique stores. These may be any types of vials and of any designs. One such design is holding dangling earrings through the hooks that are placed on corks. For taller vials and jars, they can place necklaces inside. This may possibly be a new way to box jewelries.

Last are racks of dowel steel rods. Its length may be short or tall. This depends on the place of display. For small racks, it is placed at table tops while taller racks are on the floor. They will organize which jewelry is going to be hanged on which branch. Diversity of jewelries can be expected to happen here except for rings.
