The fur shall be placed above that so that its liquid will go through the towel. Placing them with the strong heat of the sun will only make the fur to become hard. While that is still slightly wet, grab a metal bristle brush to brush that. Do that and the advantage of a dry season speeds up the process. Once that has been already dried, give it one more brush again.
