5.11 Tactical Clothing In The UK

By Larry Li

5.11 Tactical UK garments are a wide range of high-tech clothing which is completely suited to the work place. I spent quite a few years staying away from these, I'll confess. I'd visited the 5.11 Tactical web site, however was all so remarkably American! What I mean by this statement is, all of their style photoshoots are at shooting ranges, inside big red and white ambulances and with cops in ultra shiny shades. There had been lots of pistols along with hunting photos. And to be fair that had been for the most part the rifles that put me off. Certainly not my kind of thing and so I didn't think of it as my sort of business. And indeed not really what I would be using the 5.11 tactical gear for.

However I had a chance to try on some 5.11 pants in a store one day. As I picked these up I actually didn't realise they were 5.11 trousers, I simply thought that they looked very good. I managed to get them on and they fit quite well too. It was an exceptionally nice surprise. You cannot assume that all combat slacks will fit properly, many are bulky and also irritating and would just bug me if I was required to wear them to work day in and day out. Heavy, ill-fitting slacks which use too many storage compartments to be functional or comfortable, that's exactly what I'm accustomed to finding. But not any more thanks to 5.11.

Since I've found some cargo slacks which have a really good fit, I've started using them a lot more. Not merely for work now-a-days, but walking the dogs as well as on my hill walking outings they are most suitable. I enjoy sporting some slacks which won't feel as if they will tear as soon as I next climb up and over a rock. It's not really a day to day problem I admit it, and it won't be for a lot of folks. Yet it's still comforting!

Buying with 5.11 Tactical is truly effortless now that I am sure of my measurement. Some brands vary in sizes nonetheless 5.11 are dependable for sizes and so i can rely on them to fit again and again. I have also realized because I only shop online for 5.11 tactical kit with British websites now I see much less of the hunting and pistols in their promotional material. I am aware it's an unusual gripe, yet it simply made me feel somewhat ill at ease.

Are there brand names that you choose to steer clear of because their marketing and advertising has discouraged you? Maybe you've had a chance to test them out and altogether change your mind like I did? I despise needing to back-track when I've formed my opinion based on morals! Are there any manufacturers you have just shopped with only because of their advertisements?
